About Us


Our company founder, James Frank Sr. emigrated from Europe in 1949 to Oregon with his family. In Europe, James was a cabinetmaker apprentice, training under a master craftsman. After settling down with his young family, he worked various jobs including a cabinet sub-contractor, building cabinets out of the basement of his home. Later, he expanded into framing, finish carpentry, and General Contracting. James Frank Sr. founded James Frank Construction, Inc. in 1955, entering the General Contracting market in 1965. Over the past 50 years the company has built a solid reputation on quality, cost containment, on-time completions and outstanding project management.

James Frank Construction, Inc. started Frank Construction Company to concentrate on commercial construction in both the private and public arenas. Synergies between the companies have helped make each one more competitive in their respected areas.

All project managers have extensive commercial experience. Bid formulation and project management are our areas of expertise. A commitment to maximize the outcome of the project management trifecta - cost, schedule, and quality is our goal. All project managers have or are working on their professional certifications in estimating (ASPE) and project management (PMI) certifications.
